Grace Journey- May 2011 Giving hearts

Thank God for the opportunity to share to SLC members on the LCS projects. Not much about fund raising but more importantly awareness and spiritual support. I am so thankful as the brothers and sisters are so willingly in one way or another to give and fund the community projects, I see their hearts of giving. May God bless the cheerful givers.

All that was lost

This trip we have visited many AIDS villages' families and children in Nepal.All of them are struggling with bare basic needs, suffering from illness and worrying about thier children's future.

Have helped an infected single mother with 5 children to build a small house. His son's health is improving. It is a comfort to see the family now covered with a shelther.

An infected sick lady was lying on her bed with her helpless children standing beside her. A thought suddenly came to me: If we were not helping to build her a house on time, now she could have been very ill and lying on the roadside. It's so important to act upon God's prompting, it's an oppotunity to get our blessings to be able to help in time for people in needs.

Visited a seriously sick man, he can't talk and blind, condemning himself for infected his wife and children , struggling with basic living, hopeless and waiting to die. My heart is broken, there are so many suffering people out there. Can we all wake up from our comfortable living style and give them a cup of cold water?

An AIDS has orphan has composed his own song. The song goes like this:

I wish I get to sleep in the warmth of my mother's arms through the night.
My loving parents have left me, why am I the only one that is still living?
My unfailing efforts of finding my parents have been futile, will I ever find them?
Perhaps I am predestined to be an orphan all my life.

Who would not be touched by what he wrote?

By God's grace, I happen to came to know this song, which is so suitable for the video clip I made for the trip and closely reflecting the AIDS victims and the boy's heartbeat.

Wonderful experience of God's provision.

A new partner join in for Nepal work, bless the Church and the poor and needy ministry in many ways with business platforms introduced. The Local Church can now be the provider for their own country's ministry and people. This trip is also sponsored by him. I am so thankful. Only God can moves the hearts of people and bring them all together for His purpose.

Grace Journey- Mar 2011 A New Ministry Journey

Stepping into Life Care Society, Singapore for a new ministry journey. Expecting a fresh wave of grace,favors, blessings and devine experiences from my dear Father.

Well, not a full functioning office but I am thankful for what I have. A little bit lonely as i used to work in big and small teams. The kids' singing and laugthers downstair makes the difference . Their adorable faces, lovely greetings and angelic smiles have brighten my days. I am melting straight away whenever they squeeze to embrace me :)

A busy month for setting up, meetings, connections and trying to understand the culture here. Well , considered fruitful.

The month ended with a trip to C crossing the 1st week of April with a training meetings.The 3 yrs SC training program ended here and now baton has officially passed to the locals.

Thank God for blessing the next generations in C.

This month I have obtained my rescue diver certification. It was a hard and demanding physical training but thank God i am able to make it!

We dive around Tunku Abdul Rahman Park,KK. Well,mix feeling. Happy diving with fun buddies. Sad part is we 'hunted' whale shark for two days but not able to see a trail of our big friend coming by. Water was extremely cold, visibility was very bad at this season. Despite this, it was still a good dive trip, I was able to get some good sunsets and underwater shots.

New Ministry Journey
Amen! 2010 ended with an answered prayer. A big gift from God. For the past few years, I have been praying and waiting for a new and effective platform focusing on ministry for the sick, poor, outcast and needy people. I took the first step as the Spirit led and slowly I see it fulfilling in Father's best timing without any personal effort. He laid out the path smoothly for me. It is a restful process.

I know it's going to be challeging, but certainly He is with me, His presence will go before me and I am rested under His mighty wings. My job is to follow Him. He has granted me the privilege to partner with Him and experience His grace along the journey.

Lord, I need your wisdom and favor.

My three wishes for the new year:
1) Wholeness-divine health.
2) Biz arm for ministry needs.
3) Establish,develop and expand the new ministry with His provisions.

Sick widows and orphans
This trip I met countless AIDS widows and orphans,they are seriously sick and without basic necessities. Few of them not even have a home. My heart is broken and tearing when I saw thier situation. Beside the AIDS-Help project,we provided for thier urgent need(S$1000 for 2 homes). I see this ministry is so vital: Preaching good news to the poor and love them with practical faith. I wish all Christian churches realise the importance of loving,giving,caring and helping the least of these brothers and sisters.

Vulnerable souls responded to Jesus
We had a gathering of about 100 AIDS families from two AIDs villages. On that day,gospel has been preached to them,followed by distributing the blankets and clothes and home visitation. They responded to receive Jesus Christ as their personal Savior. My heart is over satisfied for bringing hope and love in Christ to these people and seeing them coming to Jesus.

Opening a new page for AIDS work in Nepal
By the grace of God,we started this new ministry and expected to extend the project to the 3rd AIDS village. May God establishes the work in our hands. His Name will be known in this desolated land, all these people will take refuge under His wing and those who trust in Him will be saved.

Grace Journey Oct 10 A Healing Miracle

Once again, My father responded to my request without one day delay. He shown me a healing miracle in my ministry: I have visited an adopted A infected girl, she told me after since she attended S School, she never falls sick again. She reads bible and sing praises everyday,her body immune system has been boosting day by day and now back to normal healty level! Praise God for this child. I am encouraged once again to trust His perfect healing. I am receiving, seeing and experiencing The Truth day by day.

I met a girl in C who is a tea leaves promoter.Interestingly,I learnt a very important truth and caught a spiritual technique while talking to her:

喝茶要把茶“喝透”了，茶的好处就对身体完全发挥了功效，每天就必须喝，不喝就不自在，似乎少了些什么。

With a listening heart, I understand this:
To walk with God and live in Christ daily, and in order for His truth, promises, power and inheritance being manifested in my life, I have to do the same. There is a process of keep on feeding,receiving, responding,transforming and being perfect captured by His truth.

To show my appreciation, I have bought a box of expensive tea leaves from her. I am so satisfied as my Father talked to me through her.

My life is filled with your grace, goodness and mercy. I am grateful for all favors and healings and rested under your wings.

Thank you for acknowledged my act of thanksgiving and love. Tears of Joy fill me. I learnt this from Luke 8:3.

In Christ,I became strong; filled with wisdom, and the grace of God is upon me. Luke 2:40.

Ephesians 1:17-19 Lord, give you the Spirit of wisdom and revelation, so that I may know you better.I pray also that the eyes of my heart may be enlightened in order that I may know the hope to which You have called me, the riches of Your glorious inheritance in the saints, and Your incomparably great power for us who believe.

Manado- Bunaken dives- Sep 10

You can have the world's best wall dives here. Fresh,colourful and blossom corals on the straigth walls hanging in the ocean. Fantastic experience!

Sadly my camera was destroyed by water in the first encouter with Bunaken underwater. I can't take pictures the rest of the dives. Just able to catch the few of them below. Well, still one of my best dive trips, enjoy the wonderful creation of God. Praise the Lord!

I am thankful for having hope in God.

This month I was diagnosed with two illnesses. For one disease, I have to bear with it, there is nothing can help to improve. Another disease which I have to go for operation. At the same time, I sprain my upper leg and many times causes backache. This is my first time facing health challenges in life.

I have been struggling by human ways to get healed and realised there is always no good and immediate answers.

Finally, I settled my heart with peace and put the specialist medical reports in my bible under a page with healing scriptures. Mathew 8:2-3. Yes, I trust "they are life unto those that find them and health to all their flesh. Prov 4:22"

I prayed to God for divine touch and experience healing by Faith. I believe we Christians should have all rights for spiritual inheritance and blessings in and through Christ. Ephesians 1. I know my daddy will heal me because He loves me.

Lord, thanks for all events happening in my life. By your Grace and in Jesus' name, I am blessed and all my flesh are completely healed.

Bali Quality Rest- Aug 10

Paul and me are blessed to stay at St.Regis Hotel, Bali for free, it was our most luxurious stay in life. We enjoyed the one day tour to Tanah Lot, Volcano and Rice Terrace. For sure, I grabbed the chance to dive in one of the best dive sites in the world, Nusa Peninda Island. Thank God for the quality rest!

After listen to Simon's sharing about the AIDS situation in western Nepal, I have a heavy burden for the AIDS orphans and widows. I hope to channel some financial resources to start an AIDS ministry there. In my heart , i believe that i will be in Nepal soon. I kept this for a week's time. One mornng, i felt a strong leading of the Holy Spirit that i have to share this to our ID. Amazingly he was so supportive and facilitated me for a trip there the next day with traveling budget approved. Despite all the last minute urgent arrangements, i finally end up in Nepal the next day.

What an amazing God's timing and arrangement. I know God wanted me to be there.

I am encouraged from the wonderful works that have been established by TWR Nepal, TWR church planting, leaders trainings, prison ministries, women literacy and self help holistic projects and etc...

HIV/ AIDS is incresingly serious in western Nepal, countless orphans and widows are struggling with health and basic livelihood, no one is helping them, they have no hope and future. When i visited the place and the families, my heart was broken.I strongly believe that the Lord wants me to do something from here.

The next day when i was back to Spore, I was able to share the needs to Ramona, the timing is just perfect. Well, I leave the result to God.

Dear Lord, all are arranged by you, I trust that you will provide and make your presence in the desperate land. You want to see the lost souls being saved from their sins,hell, sufferings and hopelessness. May your love being shown in the land and transform their lives. All glory and honor be unto you.

Grace Journey: Jun 10 Restful Increase

I am so thankful as i have been always following Joseph P's message these few years. Indeed, I have experienced God many ways when i rest in Him.How He established and moved things in my life,when i think of my Father God and His grace in my journey of serving Him, the tears of joy filled my heart and stired my spirit. How i wish i experience Him more and more. That's my only desire.

This month there are few things came across my mind:
1)Self support arm + biz as mission are approaching nearer.
2)Writing a book about:
a) How God establishes ,provides, grows and blesses the ministry of His heart.
b) How the orphans and sickly people's testify thier hope in God through His Word and provision.
c) All the divine appoinments,revelations, interventions and miracles of God on His people throughout the years.
d) How's my life changed, the expriences of searching Him and His revelations and answers to all my prayers.

This is to glorify God and encourage His children by counting His grace...

Grace Journey- May 10 : Encouraging dimensions

This month is full of divine experiences in C:

1)Divine Healing:
Xue's (My C worker) lower back bones was dislocated for 2 weeks, She was unable to sleep, eat, stand and walk. It was very painful and hard to bear. God's healing taken place when she picked up my call on 28 May. She prayed to God for mercy and healing as she has to bring me around the villages. Amazingly, after she made that prayer, she was able to get up immediately. We later walked and worked continuously for 3 full days. She didn't feel the pain since then. What a simple faith.

2) Divine Inspirations:
I visited many A children/ orphans/ sickly people these trip. My heart full of thanksgiving, I saw many encouraging dimensions of this ministry:
- Indeed, these people are shedding the tears of thanksgiving and joy! not tears of suffering.
- Hope of salvation and love from God's people keeps them moving forward! Even though they are going through sufferings, these people never complain. In turn, they give thanks and put their hope in God. They often say: If i do not have God, I would have died long ago. If i am not a believer, who is willing to come to see me and care for me?
-Many of them experienced God's healing! After they received help & care from the Church, they are encouraged. They felt love and see hope, their spirit are lifted up, the fear of death and uncertainty faded away, their hearts are filled with joy and hence their bodes are strengthen physically. " A cheerful heart is good medicine", this is natural healing.

3) Divine protection
I was caught by the Police, but thank God nothing bad happen. It did not affect my next part of the trip. I strongly believe, If we do not panic and trust Him that He will protect us all the time, the Spirit will teach us how to respond. What is there to afraid? If He is for us, who is dare to against us?

4) Divine confirmation
This trip I have memorized 2 sriptures, John 8:12 (light of the world)and Acts 3:6( all i have, Jesus, i give to you). I was trying to fill myself with His Word and pray for people by declaring them. I even tought the sunday school children to sing these two scripture songs. One week later in SL training, Vijay and Utomo shared the same verses. My heart was so encouraged and satisfied by this. God knows me well and He is so closed to me, He bother to affirm me all the time.

My beloved Father God, I am so satisfied by you!

I had a good rest in Redang. I treasure spending time with my Father in His beautiful creation. Enjoying the great ocean and its fascinating underwater lives is an effective therapy for me.

There are few things i must say about Jordan,The Holy Land.
1)This is the most peaceful and present staying land that i have ever been.
2)The culture and nature heritage is extremely rich.
3)The children and people are all time polite,friendly and helpful. The police are forever ready to help and guide. They are sons of peace.
4)Human living world should be like this, kind and wiling to walk extra miles for others. Live life simple and care free.
5)Jordanians are the good Samaritans.I guess all of them should be in heaven based on my impression.:)

Grace Journey- Mar 10 Extra favor from God

God establishes and fulfill His work. He does all things, we just rest and enjoy His grace!

Again, by another divine appointment, He led Grace Phresbytarian Church in Batu Pahat to support the A ministry in C. I see the compassionate heart of Christ in them. I am so honored to share God's ministry to these dearest brothers and sisters and allow them to have a chance to be blessed through giving. By seeing them responding fast to the needs, I am deeply encouraged and motivated.

Revenue Department audit in Afghan was short and Z's licence renewal is just on time. There were many comments like:
1) No company can "escape" to pay "tax" in this exercise.
2) It's will be a miracle if the approval can be done in such a short time.

But in God's hand, all things are possible. Despite all other companies have to pay "tax" and struggled for months in the "negotiation", Z don't have to. This is because of His divine intervention and He moved the hearts of the officials.

We surely needs His protection and favor along the journey in Afghan.

I have been considering to help a family with a monthly amount but held back for a while to seek the Lord. After a week, He came to me and ask for help. This confirms the voice of the Holy Spirit within me and i have responded to give.

Another incident is i was hoping to support a missionary by a monthly amount. I wanted to call her but instead she called me on the same night itself. I was so touched and responded to give as well. What a wonderful God who knows what my heart is thinking, always love to reveal,confirm and fulfill my prayers.

Well, my hope is to have someone sent by the Lord who is willing to support & facilitate a supporting arm for my poor and needy ministry. My desire is to serve the A orphans and families in C as well as the poor and needy in other countries for eg Afg. I am looking forward for a divine appointment and believe that is going to happen soon. Waiting for God's hap. His timing and His way is always the best.

Grace Journey- Dec 09 Ended the year with blessings

After a few days on board with Star Cruise Libra,Paul and me had a good rest and wonderful time together. I guess we have fall in love with the open ocean. Our next target is Alaska cruise. Well, by His provision, we trust that we can make it!

Spent 10days in Sabah, went to Mt KK. Enjoyed the time in Kundasan resorts with my dear brother & sisters and thier children. Wondeful sceneries and sunrise!

My Christmas presents: BCD & reg set + Lancome perfume(from my dear hubby),coffee cup,bracelet,metal bookmark, body soap,2 Angels,card holder,phone holder,Hokkaido owl,chocalate,almond and S$50 voucher. Lovely!!!

We concluded and ended the year with much thanksgivings and blessings!

My next 5 years' resolutions :
1) Read bible, pray and listen to sermons everyday.
2) Run and expand the poor and needy ministry with self supporting arm.
3) S$100K poor and needy Faith Trust fund (pledge)
4) Holiday with Paul: Alaska cruise,Hawaii, Jerusalem
5) Start the journey of million miles.
6) Dive in Mediterranean and Caribbean seas.

Grace Journey- Nov 09 A wonder of the year

Nov 2009 probably is the most challenging trip of the year.

It was snowing heavily in H, the planned schedules and activities were affected. Flight schedules were delayed, icy highway was closed and the security environment was tight. We have to be flexible, make adjustments all the time and only plan for each day. I have learnt to trust without worry. Indeed, His grace is sufficient.All tasks were completed and all objectives were acheived by His ways.

Freezing cold !!! -15C without heating system, frozen body, numb fingers and toes, no toilet and proper bed room. It was a difficult time in the village, yet this is the only trip that i felt too short and so reluctant to leave. Perhaps the warmth of love has driven me along.

One of the tasks is to distribute winter clothes to the A children. It was heavily snow that day. After one hour of walk and visitation, i couldn't go on anymore as i no longer can take the cold. At that moment, I prayed to God to have the strenght to continue, i wanted to send the warmth of His love to the hopeless homes. i didn't want to give up. Amazing! Instantly, my body started to generate heat and i didn't feel cold for the next few hours. It's was another wonder in my life before the year closed. I am serving a real God!!!

Shared in COGS services and fellowship from 27-1 Nov. The journey of A ministry and the testimony of an A boy are the main contents of my sharings. Again, God is at work! I believe many are touched and blessed including myself!

Sharing God's heartbeat, unveiling the truth, witnessing His wonderful deeds,encouraging and inspiring His children to love Him more; I felt these are highly honoured.

Back to Sabah for KK mom's 70's birthday celebration.

Visited Ramona. i was very encoraged by her. She has a humble spirit and a kind heart. She is very passionate in helping the poor and needy. Our conversation was an inspirational one. Even a brother or sister in Christ wouldn't appreciate my ministry and encourage me like that. Yet she is a non believer. She appreciates, supports and respects my life calling. God is blessing me and lifting up my spirit through her at this particular point of journey. What a wonderful person.

Dive in Lankayan for 3D2N, back to the nature and ocean always the effective theraphy, the Lord is healing me through His wonderful creation.

Grace Journey- Aug 09 He heals the broken hearted

This month I get very closed to the A children and able to talk to them, hug them and understand their feelings once again.

I will never forget those expressions on the faces. After the trip, i was emotionally affected badly for two weeks, that was exactly how i feel during my first encounter 5 years ago. I am sad as i am so weak to help them, yet i see them go through such sufferings.

John 14:12 I tell you the truth, anyone who has faith in me will do what i have been doing. He will do even greater things than these, because i am going to the Father.

I was meditating the above scripture the whole time, He went around to heal the sick, set the people free from bondages, preaching the good news to the poor and granted hope to the hopeless. If Lord Jesus was physically in where i was, I am sure he already done something about it... I was terribly sad because i didn't live out the promise given by Jesus. My faith is too small. O Lord , help me!

"He heal the broken hearted" is reflecting my heart and during the process of making this video, i have learnt from the Lord, i chose to believe eventhough i don't understand.

Psalms 34:18 The Lord is close to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit.

Psalms 147:3 He heals the broken hearted and binds up their wounds.

Grace Journey- Jul 09 Lasting fruits

1) Had a good fellowship with Rebecca Chia, a retired missionary from HK who is called to serve the Hakka people for more than 30 years. At the age of 23, she started her first harvest field in Sabah, where she describes the place as ' you would see trees more than human'.

I am touched as she quietly contributed her life to this piece of land and led many Hakka to the Lord. My heart was tearing when she told me the current Bishop of Sabah and many other influencial pastors were her sunday school students.

What a simple dedicated life that impacted countless souls and bears lasting fruits.

2) Often times when i come to make important decisions or facing challenges and issues in life, my body clock will always wake me up at 3.33AM and there will be a still small voice telling me to pray.

I guess My dearly Jesus wants me to understand why this is happening and unveil His favors to me. Yesterday i mentioned this to my co-worker and he swiftly showed me this verse:

Jeremiah 33:3 'Call to me and I will answer you and tell you great and unsearchable things you do not know.

Eventhough i am not always obeying , but He still bless me and establish the works on my hand despite my ignorance. Now He wants me to call to Him, come closer to Him so that He can continue to bless me with greater things which surpass my understanding!

My God is such a good God, It's beyond words to describe His love and grace!

Wonderful year 34!

My lovely 2009 birthday gifts:

1) A dive computer from Paul (in advance). I have used that in my Jun's sipadan dive. We had our dinner at West End, our favourite restaurant. Thank God for a generous and caring hubby...
2) A basket of flower and wine from my sis, Eve through home delivery. It was a surprise! My sis is so sweet and nice. I told her it is too expensive but she said I worth it...
3) Japanies Lunch from my colleagues and a bilabong skirt from Jeslin.
4) Lastly, i bought myself a Canon IXUS 100 and its underwater casing to replace my precious companion which was lost to the ocean...Phew!

Spent some good days shopping in HK with my lovely sis, Anne.

Thank God for another wonderful and satisfying rest. Lycia has graciously arranged me to stay at Kapalai Resort for a week.

18 dives: 1 in Mabul Old House Reef, 2 in Kapalai(Mandarin Valley and Mid Reef)and 15 in Sipadan (Barracuda point, South Point, Drop off,Coral garden, Hanging Garden,White Tip Avenue and Mid Reef). Enjoyed very much diving,drinking and chatting with Rodel and Wendy as well as Faizul, They are just like my good friends in the island.

The most unforgettable experience is being in the centre of thounsands barracuda circle. Lots of white tip sharks, grey reef sharks, turtles, jackfish, bumphead and thousands of beautiful fishes and corals. Fascinating!

I am so blessed to dive in Sipadan as it is the richest marine habitats in the world. I am totally speechless for God's wonderful underwater creation and thankful of all the blessings granted by Him.

Grace Journey-May 09 Experienced God in a greater way

Thank God that TWR partner conference has been held smoothly on 14-15 May. Joanne's sharing (patnership for the lighthouse project) was exceptional outstanding. She shared from heart with a humble and gentle spirit. The company's involvement in the project under her coordination has indeed encouraged many participants.

I completed a video: Testimony of an elderly lady for COGS, hope this will encourage the elderly people in the Church.

After the extremely busy month, finally there's a time for rest. I took two weeks rest at Sabah home.I am loved and blessed by my mother in law, my mum, all my brothers and sisters. All of them are so lovely, caring and sweet, we spent a great week together ! It was such a joy by playing with my nephews and nieces.

Through God's divine appointment, i met with COGS members in Kapalai Resort on 30&31 May. we had bbq and sea sports together as well as wonderful fellowship and worship in the island. So encouraged by meeting and sharing with Frank, Ales, Timothy, Uncle Chia, Dr.Tan, Sandy, Eddie, Dr.Thien, Rev Chin and other lovely brothers and sisters.

On 31 May evangelistic night, i was requested to share on the Lighthouse project. I was worried because of the short notice. However, God is always at work. He establishes and fulfills His work on our hands, we just receive the blessings by partnering with Him. God has touched Ramona (who is a strong Buddist) and Simon to give to the ministry RM100,000 and she announced that with tears.

AMAZING! It is BEYOND WORD to describe my thankgiving towards God. Who am I that God has shown such a grace! His merciful hand is upon me and the poor people who are suffering.

This is another great testimony in my journey of serving Him. I had experienced Him in a greater and higher way. It is effortless for us as Jesus has completed all the work at the Cross!

I am praying hard for Ramona and Simon's salvation and health. God is calling them and they will be saved and totally healed soon. Amen!

A busy and fruitful month

I was in C with COGS members followed by SLC pastors between 17 to 28 Apr. Such a joy traveling with them. I enjoyed very much the fellowships and friendships in Christ. It is so meaningful to facilitate others to involve in mission and experience our living God together while serving Him. I am sure they are touched by God's work and the people they visited are blessed by them.

After the trips, I have to rush 3 videos out at one shot before the first week of May, what a challenge! Thank God for giving me the physical health,strength, inspiration,creative and skill to complete the job on time. I love to take up challenges in life and meet tight deadlines, these keep me motivated.

2-6 Mar: Training on SL. There is a section on DISC : This round i am a promoter. A high I and S person. How i wish i am an effective promoter for Christ and the Kingdom of God in my daily walk with Him.

7-14 Mar: Back to Sabah(KK, Sandakan & Tawau). Enjoyed a big family celebration. "So comforting", this might be the right word to discribe my feeling when i was home with my siblings and thier families. My love and care and sense of belonging are growing for family relationships as age catching up.I believe this is a life journey for everyone.

16-24 Mar: Went to C. Another heart wrenching & wrestling experience. May the Lord carries all his children's burdens and afflictions. Nothing i can do except to bring the presence of God to them.

What's life for? I have been asking this for so long and yet still finding a clue.Lord, please reveal to me and them.

Mom is going for a China tour in Apr, i am happy for her, will support her with what i can. To see a person you love enjoying life is so fulfilling.

To give (and able to give) is more blessed than to receive. No wonder our heavenly father is a cheerful giver. And certainly He is more than able to give... Hallelujah! Father, grant me the ability and heart of giving. Amen

I was always thinking,seeking and wondering where should be my future home. Sabah? (i grown up here for 18 years) KL? (i studied and worked here for 7 years, where i started the first church in my life) Singapore?(where my home is ) Or else where? I have so far never treated a place as my permanent home, i don't know why?May be i never find any suitable one? May be i need to seek further direction?

The Lord is so tender and lovely, He is just my father and close friend... after i talked about this with Paul one night, just the next day in the train, i saw a lady standing in front of me , she was carrying a bag, there was a phase written on the bag: " HOME IS WHERE YOUR HEART IS"... My heart was instantly touched and my tears came out, What a wonderful living God who is so caring, He knows me by name, He knows my every thought, He walks with me and talks with me...

Indeed ,my heart should set on the heavenly things, my home is where God's presence is...My life should be solely focus on Him and live according to His calling and leading, then i will always be safely at 'home' and experience the eternal while living in this temporary world...

And if my heart is with my dearly God given spouse who is my life companion ... i will always be at 'home'.

I am thankful as i have both no matter where i am physically...

Thank God for revealing your truth to me, knowing it brings knowledge, but experiencing it brings transformation.

My heart is full of thanksgiving for 2008. It is one of the most fruitful years in my life.

In 2008, I have

seen the most of God's heartbeat and provision despite the challenges in serving Him.
enjoyed the most of spending time with Him, listening to His Word and worship Him with His creation.
experienced the most of His love,truth and grace in the pit of life
understand the most of reality and overcoming of trials in life.
learnt the most to rely, trust and depend on Him alone.
let go the most for things that holding me back for the past few years.
realised the most of how God has blessed and sustained my family and marriage life.
blessed others the most with what God has given me.

Thanks to Paul for his loving tender care. He has been a great husband for the past 8 years. It is a heavenly blessing to spend my life with Him.

In deed, 2008 is also the most rested year since i started working. Thank God as I have enjoyed different short and long spiritual breaks along the year in different seasons and countries despite the busy traveling and working schedule. That's how My dear Lord keeping me strong to serve. Rest in Him and worship Him with the nature is the most beautiful thing in life... and He always granted me that privilege.

Ten months ago, i read a letter from an orphan, her story has a huge impact on me and i was always hoping to meet her one day . The possibility is low because she has been staying in the school. However, as usual, God listened to my prayer. By His grace, i met her during my visit to her village. It was so precious that i can talk to her face to face, listen to her, cry with her and comfort her with God's Word.

My heart is deeply touched by her, she always reminds me of a beautiful Chinese song: 眼光- see hope through God's heart. I have made a video on her and believe it can touches and blesses God's people . I am amazed to encounter such a vulnerable child with tremendous storms in her life and yet still filled with hope and remains a thankful heart.

Highlight of blessings in October

1) Project reporting during ST convention. Thanks to Y2 for helping with the video. Initially, (as usual) I was not so confident especially come to public speaking in English and in a corporate setting. It was a great challenge to me! However i just did my best and trust God for the result. PTL,He always chooses the poor, the weak and the foolish like me , the response is far more good than i can think of. Once again i experienced His greatness. The people donated more than the pevious years even during the worst economic downturn. Amen! God is always faithful to provide.

2) Dive in Tioman (10-12 Oct), nice video attached in last blog (hehe... at least to my standard)

3)Vision sharing trip in COGS,Sabah (26 Oct -3 Nov). Although this is the 3rd year of reporting, the people were so passionate and touched by the message. I felt the annoiting when i was standing in pulpit... more than half of the congregations responded with tears... I am amazed by the work of the Holy spirit and the message that God has put in my heart and lips. He again uses me. People commented that my English sharing is better than Chinese. I trully believe that when God ordanned us to do something, He will give the annoiting and gifting, as to whether we have the ability is not important.

In fact, I myself were touched by the WORD and all the testimonies (even during the preparation and sharing), as so many lives being saved and built through the ministry. I am so blessed to serve God in this way. My heart is full of thanksgiving and joy...

4) Well, bad news. My portable HD is gone. I am so sad! All the trips and family photos, sermons and music mp3 are gone. They are my love and memories!!! It's a painful lost. Praise God for eveything!

Thank God! By His grace,I managed to cope with the overwhelming workload and travel schedule in Sep:

1) I finished 5 months Z a/cs in a week's time
2) Traveled to Taiwan (8-14) for CM meeting, a long preparation, discussion and follow up process.
3) Traveled to South Africa (20-26)to attend AIPC and capacity building project training. It is one of the most fruitful trips in TWR.It opens my eyes for God's work in Africa through A media programing.I have learnt a lot... the conference was so creatively and proffessionally done.
4) On the way back from SA, transited at Mauritius. I stayed in Blue Bay(27-30)for my personal retreat. This is a heaven on earth place: fresh cooling air, crystal blue water, white powder sand, friendly people, simple and relax lifestyle. Praise God for all His beautiful creation, especially the blue ocean which i am always embracing.

Went to HK for a week. Get to know a single old lady missionary, i pity her for her condition: old, despair,lonely, poor and "long winded", she is getting out of job soon. People try to avoid her wherever she is. I just feel sad for her... I pray if God willing,i will grow old with grace, full of wisdom and joy, surrounded with friends, prosperous, healthy to serve Him until the very last moment, and die peacefully. I know i am asking too much but who knows, God loves me so much, He will grant my wish. Amen!

Went to Batam island for TWR retreat, another satisfying good rest!

August is an exciting month, of course, i am referring to the Olympics. Beside the medalists, i equally respect and admire those who participated in the Olympic games, they work so hard and sacrifice so much for the important competition in their lives. Their goal motivates them. Inspiring!!! my life should solely focus on the one thing: the goal in Christ, the prize that God has prepared in heaven. Press on!!!

This month reminder: Must see things from positive perspectives...GET OUT!!! DUST OFF!!!FRESH ATTITUDE!!!PRESS FORWARD!!! That's not easy at all, still in the process. Yes! i am learning, accepting and growing.

Humanly love is limited,sometimes can be conditional, superficial and selfish, we can only found secure in Christ's unchanged, unconditional, bountiful and everlasting love.

Isa 54:10For the mountains may depart and the hills be removed, but my steadfast love shall not depart from you, and my covenant of peace shall not be removed, says the LORD, who has compassion on you.

Praise God for everything...

My mom had a serious eye infection , i brought her 3 times to hospital. I have spent 3 whole days waiting in the hospital and going through the repeated processes. It drives me crazy...By this experience, I realised how much she loves me and sacrificed for me in the process of my growing up. What i have done is just too little compare to her. Parents are always the greatest persons in life.

I went to C for a week. It was a special trip as i see God opens doors for new opportunities. I am so desperate to experience His ways, like what i have experienced when we first set up the H ministry. Oh Lord! More for you!

Attended go-forth this year...not much impact on me. However, i was touched by the sharing of Central Asia ministry. I really hope God works on me and through me just like the speaker, so passionate, so fruitful, so in love with God and His people and so committed. Oh Lord! More for you!

Yeah! My eyesight is restored. Praise The Lord! The operation is done in just 15mins. By His grace, 'I now can see'. Great is the advance technology! Greater is God who created man(with perfect eyesight) and the technology.

Yes, I should know the signs of the 2nd coming of my dear Lord, the prophetic clock is clicking 10,9,8,7... We should be observing the clock so that we know where we are, how should we live and what should we do and will not be surprised by the Day.

2 peter 3: 11-14 Since everything will be destroyed in this way, what kind of people ought you to be? You ought to live holy and godly lives. But in keeping with his promise we are looking forward to a new heaven and a new earth, the home of righteousness. So then, dear friends, since you are looking forward to this, make every effort to be found spotless, blameless and at peace with him.

After the busy month of March and April (Went to China and Taipei for 2 weeks),I am so enjoyed the sabbatical rest in the island resort. It is a wonderful place for healing , resting , refreshing and worship.

However, my heart is so burdened by the natural catastrophe happened in Myanmar and China. I am so sad. I just couldn't imagine how sad is our heavenly father for those afflited lives.

I feel so strong that the endtimes is approaching near. Even i experienced tremor in Tawau, an earthquake free area.

Peace, hapiness, family , health, blessings, and etc are not naturally fall on us but is given by God , is by His Grace.

Purpose: Sabbatical rest

By God's grace, I was able to stay 9 days in the resort for free . Lycia & Catrick has graciously allowed me to stay a month in the resort for my sabbatical rest.I am so grateful for the kind deed. May God rewards them abundantly.

However, I injured my toe on the 17th. I have no choice but to travel back to Twu for medical treatment and rest for the week at home. Anyway, I am so grateful to God for the opportunity to worship Him in the ocean, spending time with Him and enjoy His creation.

I have done 20 dives in Sipadan island (Baracuda point, midreef, hanging garden, turtle patch, whitetip point), Kapalai island (midreef, greatwall, mandarin garden, mandarin valley) and Mabul island (Paradise). Lots of wall dives and drift dives. The current was especially strong in two days at baracuda point and hanging garden. I was feel like flying instead of diving. Exciting and Interesting.

I saw barracuda, sharks, jack fish, bumphead in schools and lots of micro stuffs. It's really fun diving in one of the best dive sides in the world. However the weather condition is not as good as the past years. Big waves, strong wind, heavy rain and medium visibility.

Thanks to Linda, Wendy(the big sis), Elko(the Japanese sweet lady), Alex(this guy caused me injured my toe), Glenn (the quiet cool man), Ben (the funny guy) and Dhon. They are all responsible and funny dive instructors/ masters who have made our dives so wonderful. Thanks to Brian, my good buddy from HK, I feel so comfortable and safe and so enjoy diving with him. Hope he can be my buddy again. Happy meeting Neil& Cecelia from Spore, two funny guys and a couple from HK , Freddy& Michelle from KL. We enjoy the fellowship so much.

Some highlights of the month

1) Paul and me have spent a week in Sabah. The father was so weak and many things were unfavorable to us. However we have peace during the whole process. We just acted stupidly and ignored the problems. Miraculously, He has fixed them for us one by one after we are back to Singapore. Praise the Lord as He is our Shepherd, we live a CARE FREE lives..

2) I was approached for two business opportunities. It's so amazing! All my three wishes for 2008 are coming through... What a real God! What a lovely Father. What a friend like Jesus! Whatever and whenever i pray, He listens and fulfills them...GRACE, BLESSINGS and FAVORS are with me...
Nevertheless, I have no idea how to go about it. God, I know you will bring the right people at the right time and things will be lining up soon, I am waiting for you to lead me there. You know, I am nothing, I know nothing... but I HAVE everything because you love me.

3) I went to C for 10days with my new co-worker. This trip was fruitful. By now he should have a good understanding about the ministry. We were so touched by the local wokers and Christians who are so commiited and faithful in getting the ministry on going.
Zhi Wei, Qian Qian, Yu Xiang, Popo, the old lady with simple faith and the old man with a grateful heart and so on...My heart was broken when i see them struggle with living...Anyway, God is their father. He cares!

4) Bought a bouquet of flower for my dear sis, this is my first time to give her a birthday present. I feel so good as i am able to show my love and care to her.

5) Showing Christ's love by caring and helping people who are in need is a blessing... It brings abundant joy and the satisfaction. Amen !

And I always hold these principles:

-Rich is not about possession , but is about how much we have given ...
-Give more, will be given more.
-Gerenousity brings wealth
-Our Abba father wants us to be the channel of blessings and He first will let us have them.
- What I have is God's, I am not retaining them for my own. I may spend 10% for my interest(hehe...to meet Him in the ocean ), but the rest are His. I always have enough. My life is experiencing 5 loaves and 2 fish. He grants me all my desires even for what i have not asked.
-I live a care free life. He is my Shepherd. I am always resting and He is always working.

I have attended a conference in Thailand for a week. What i have seen and learnt is far from expected. My eyes are opened to see His mighty hand moving. He orchestates His children to partner with Him and fulfills His ministries by His own hand. The strong M army of God is quietly and faithfully marching to the Afghan Land. I am so honoured that God has chosen me, a tiny person to be a small piece of the big plan.

Spiritual highlights

1) After attended NCC services, I started to understand and experience the Grace of our Lord Jesus in a new and greater way. Through Christ,I am forgiven (there is now no condemnation Rom 8:1) ,I am justified by faith,righteous and found favor in His eyes(Romans3:24;2 Cor 5:21;Gal 2:16; Gal3:26-27).I am enjoying the blessings in Deut:28:1-13, the blessings of the believing Father Abraham. Oh GOD! Who am i to deserve such a GRACE!

I see grace, sealed by Your sacrifice.
I see love reaching for me
Precious blood, washes and sanctifies.
Healing flows, setting me free
I see grace

2) I started to realize how important is sitting at Jesus's feet(Luke 10).Mary sitting at Jesus' feet to listen to Him. She was being criticized by Martha who was distrated by "trying her way" to serve God and filled with care. The truth is Mary has spent time with Jesus and she knew Jesus' heart and needs. She was filled by His love and later she served Him at divine timing by annoited Jesus with the perfume to prepare Him for His burial. (Mat 26). Her service is accompanied with Jesus' compliment. 'the right time and in the right way'

3)God healed me and restored my joy immediately during my needs. He spared me from going down to the pit. Now my mornings come with joy( Psamls 30)Thank God for He has restored my spirit, renewed my thoughts and emotions and reconnected me to His love once again by His Unchanged Living Word!My heavenly papa is so love and care for me.

4) Some things came accross my mind this month: Prophesy of Jerusalem; Christian friends of Isreal; Kingdom business; poor and needy, ophans and widows care. I believe my dear God will reveal His heartbeat to me and let me see the picture. Amen!

Other Hightlights

1)On 20 Jan, William, Stephen's family, Ping Xiu and Joline were at my house enjoying steamboat. We had a extremely wonderful fellowship.

2)I went to C on 21-26 Jan, It was freezing cold and heavily snow.

3)My new co-worker Ps.Richard has joined the Holistic team. May The Lord use Him mightly in the ministry.

- Traveled to Beijing, IM, Gan Shu, Ningxia, ChongQing, Shi Chuan, Fu Jian, Guang Dong, Henan, Shandong, Hebei, Hubei, Yunnan, GuiZhou, GuangXi, Tianjing, ZheJiang, Shanghai, JiangShu, HeiLongJiang, Laioning, An Hui, Taiwan, Macau and HK.
- Those travels and working experinces with local churches,workers and leaders have prepared me to face the new challenges in the new ministry- A H Ministry.

Apr 05- now
-H Ministry setting up and expansion in C. Thousands of touching stories, powerful testimonies, God's devine appointments, joyful spiritual experiences and learning opportunities.He is preparing me for His greater work and vision in my life.

Oct 05
- Vision sharing trips in USA, Arkansas and Tennessee, again, i have experienced His grace on me abundantly. He loves me and pleases to use such a person like me.
- Went to International House of Prayer,Kansas City, Missouri for a week. It was a great experience to attend the 24-7 prayers and the worship service, a heaven on earth worship life style.

Nov 06-now
- First trip to Afghanistan and Dubai, see ministry needs and ministry direction in new perspective : China should send people out rather than receiving, she is so blessed by having huge numbers of believers and workers ,God has prepared them in past 50 years. Now is the time for them to minister to the darkness, desperate and poor nations along the silk road.
-Is a blessing to contribute my tiny skills to the Afghan Z Ministry.

-Decided to set up ZF , seed money for the poor, widows and orphans

-More focus on vision sharing , administrative, PR and capacity building for Holistic ministry and take more rest in the Lord. Praying for new direction in future ministry. Mutiplication and succession plan started.
- The best retreat in life, encoutered God in the ocean, worshiping Him with the nature.
- Second trip to Afghan and Dubai, witness His mighty work and His grace for the Chinese army and Afghans. Sensed the need of the poor orphans in Afghan (and silk road nations),exploring the opportunities in adopting and minister to them.

MY CALL

In January 07, I was searching what God wants me to do and achieve in this life time.He answered me through
-Samuel Doctorian's sermon(Saturday,I was deeply touched by His word)
-Chuck's sharing (subsequent Monday)
-my own devotion( around the same days)

***When i seek Him, He always react to me ,talk to me and answer me in many different ways and circumstances without failed, My God is a real God, He knows my need and He fulfils prayers, He loves me***

I received these verses:

1)Mathew 25:40"The King will reply, 'I tell you the truth, whatever you did for one of the least of these brothers of mine, you did for me.'

2)Luke 4 18, 19 Jesus ministry:
"The Spirit of the Lord is on me, because he has anointed me to preach good news to the poor. He has sent me to proclaim freedom for the prisoners and recovery of sight for the blind, to release the oppressed, to proclaim the year of the Lord's favor."

3)James 1:27 Religion that God our Father accepts as pure and faultless is this: to look after orphans and widows in their distress and to keep oneself from being polluted by the world

If we want to do something for Jesus, then do it the way Jesus did and follow what he said, do it for the least of these brothers, those are the poor, fatherless and widows.

During these years in the A H Ministry, The Lord has granted me His grace, strength and perseverance to care for the poor and fatherless. Often i am lacking faith, wanted to give up in many occasions, physically and mentally exhausted ,the journey is tough and lonely. However, I am full of Joy and peace. when i see the churches and organisations actively participated, many families and children are provided and helped, my heart is satisfied and fulfilled, all glory to Jesus and blessings to his children...these people's faith testimonies always lifted me up and encouraged me to move on...

From the start of this H ministry(April 05) till now(Dec 07), My live had never been that fulfilling before. From field research...partnership development.... Lighthouse setting up.... full of God's grace,divine appointments,miracles, countless blessings, testimonies and experiences....As a pioneer in the ministry, participating in His work... Thank Him and praise Him... and i believe He is preparing me for greater work...

During 07, i have set up a fund ZF ,a little seed money for future orphans and poor ministry, I believe God will multiply this thousand folds for His ministry and bear more fruits

Proverbs 19:17 He who is kind to the poor lends to the LORD, and he will reward him for what he has done

Isa 58:10-11 And if you spend yourselves in behalf of the hungry and satisfy the needs of the oppressed, then your light will rise in the darkness, and your night will become like the noonday. The LORD will guide you always; he will satisfy your needs in a sun-scorched land and will strengthen your frame. You will be like a well-watered garden, like a spring whose waters never fail.

While trying to build the H team capacity, I am praying and waiting for The Lord's direction in fulfilling my life purpose and calling. Greater and further....

Mataking and Mt KK-Dec 07

1) I was reading the book: To be a better you. There is one part saying when friends, ministry patners or family members leaving us,we should not feel sad and disappointed knowing that The Lord is planning for the best for His ministry and us. The seasons walking or serving with these persons may come to an end and we need to go on to pursue what God has set for us in future.

When i am back to Spore, i heard from my good friend(and boss) that he is leaving me to another country for Kingdom business and departing very soon. Although the change has made known to me long ago but i feel extremely sad to lose this wonderful partner. We might not have chance to work together agian like before. However i believe it is God's best plan for him and His ministry, I bless him with all my heart. Hope he will think of me one day if there is any ministry opportunity to serve together in future.

V in the H team has resigned too, i am sad but accepted the fact since The Lord has told me earlier that MINISTRY PARTNERS are leaving me. He is a good God, He knows me well...I have heard Him clearly.

2)Mataking is a heaven on earth place. (RM280+100transport+200dive) No words can describe the beauty of the white sand and crystal clear ocean water. The dives were excellent.i experienced three new dives: Shore dive, drift dive in the strong current and the wreak dive. Saw big turtles and one meter long fat grouper.

3)I have experienced the best of the SEA highest mountain and staying in Pine Resort (RM105)and Kinabalu Heritage Resort and Spa Hotel(RM160) with Mum and sis' families. The fresh cooling air has refreshed my heart and mind, the grand view of the peak is fascinating

OF COURSE, RETREAT IS ALWAYS THE BEST THING TO DO.

Prayers:
1) To have the financial ability or free to go all the dive resorts in Sabah to praise and worship Him with the nature and experience His wonderful creation. Quaterly retreat ok? My dear Lord. Amen

2)To deliver me from any addiction and bad habits, help me to live fully for you. Be an overcomer and conqueror. By your Grace!

Australia- Oct 07

Purposes: Tour with Pit Yun and Tiffany

1) Australia, Perth is a nice,clean, slow and steady place. However, I find it boring. I particularly dislike the security procedures in the airport, it took 3 hours to clear the custom. On no! I wouldn't want to go back again.

2) Went to Rottnest island for 3 days 2 nights, abandoned the plan of diving because the weather was too cold. The island and ocean view are marvellous...yet still can't compare with Sabah.

3)Went to a day tour, saw the pinnacles, kangaroos, koala bear....enjoyed my trip very much

4) Living cost of Australia is pretty high! Fortunately we stay in our angel's house for free, she is a good and wealthy women. i respect and appreciate her hospitality very much. May God bless her and one day she and her family will come to know God. Amen

KK-Aug 07

1) With Paul: visit my father in law and arrange connection with Church.
2) With Pei San: snorkeling trip in Pulau Malukan

1) I was amazed with God's love and His wonderful work on Paul's family. It was really effortless task to us to bring his family to Christ and attend Church. It's all by His Grace. The Lord is good when we determind to trust Him and let Him do all the work, all glory to Him.

Paul's father accepted Christ with Ps Lydia praying for him, Ps Lydia also visited my mum in law , the kids and my sis in law and lead them to church. Recently i heard them said they went to church's family camp.wow, shocking good

Through some family dispute, me and Paul has apply the principle of love to 'that women' even we were insulted and put to shame by her, we learnt to let go and let God be our judge. What we got now is far more blessed that what we have lost, the family members' souls. amen and amen!

Act 16:31They replied, "Believe in the Lord Jesus, and you will be saved—you and your household."

2) The underwater in Malukan was surprisingly nicer than what i thought, not bad, i enjoyed very much observing the fishes and the colourful corals, a nice place to go...Thank God for that.

Another blessings from God, We found a new hotel, Imperial (should be 4 star)in the city, next to center point, having the introductory rate for the rooms. Initially we are loking for hotels but all fully booked. By chance, we passed by the place and we grab the best. it's really worth for staying, only RM130.The room is facing the big sea. Good deal, The Lord is always blessing us whenever we go.

Purposes: China Ministry retreat.

Together with Samuel, Jeslin,Kay, Yi Ting and Victor. We have lots of fun.

We enjoyed especially our " retreat activity" at night. The lunch cooked by the Malays was so delicious, the water sport was so fun and etc...oh ya, and the sharing session when we were on the way back to the town area, it was so encouraging.

The hightlight was the one day 4 islands trip. Particularly there is one island, we have to swim through the cave before we can reach the island ,it's exciting and fascinating!

Great experiences, good fellowship and good rest. (feel like too short). The Lord is good to us.

Afghanistan- Jun 07

I am helping the Z business for administrative, finance and purchasing work. It was so fulfilling when i can use my little skill to serve Him and be a part of the silk road ministry. My contribution is tiny but my return is huge.i am so blessed spiritually.I was there this time to tidy up the accounting system and the books, also did the toufu advertising.Tried many of the toufu products and soya drinks, great food.

PTL that i was able to witness the opening ceremony of Z. I particularly respect Samuel, Winston and the ladies for their pure hearts in serving the Lord, really all the way out,that's called total service for the Lord. Their scarification is remembered by the Lord.

My little involvement gave me an eye opening of God's hand working in the silk road nation and learnt so much things from the people who are currently in the field, These have changed my life , my serving attitude... and my perceptions... even my ministry direction...

The Lord willing, i hope to be one of them , experiencing God and His mighty work along the silk road.... Witnessing His grace and glory in the darkest land.

Tawau, Sandakan-Feb 07

Purposes: Vision Sharing trip to COGS& Family gathering

We drove to Sandakan from Tawau for vision sharing. I was so touched as ' Mu Shi Niang' and Choi Len's family were so supportive of my ministry and accompany me there. The sharing was good as the congregation was so touched and inspired by the testimonies of the A victims. My English was surprisingly good (smoother than my Mandarin) during my sharing...I believe the Lord is willing to use the ungifted one like me if i am willing. Once again I experienced effortless acheivement , His grace is on me.
After the trip, we received RM9940 from the Church for the A adoption. I have sent the updates, reports and thank you letters to the donors. May God bless the generous and cheerful givers.

Again a big dinner cooked by Cathrine, she is always the best. I love her, my dear sis. These are my siblings , we always enjoy this kind of warmth gathering. Thank God for blessing my family.

Kelong Acheh- Jan 07

Samuel, Jeslin, Yi Ting, Billy, Kay, Victor, Ann , Wilson and Michelle were in the retreat.We enjoyed the retreat very much especially the dry swim game and the card games. It was till mid night. haha.... so spiritual.

Great food by the Kelong cook: pisang goreng, seafood and etc... and the nice teh tarik by Samuel. It was fun.
